Timothy Hochstedler and his trusty horse are now offering rides in their old-fashioned buggy. While it’s much slower than the other services, it certainly provides a unique experience that is hard to come by nowadays. Amish Uber promises a more relaxed, scenic route across St. Joseph County, as well as some awesome stories from Tim to accentuate the trip back in time.

He told local news station Fox 17, "Uber is a cool thing, every single year something new comes in and Uber is hot right now, so we have the Amish Uber. We can deliver people to their front door steps.” And he’s not the only one along for the ride. His horse is classified as a Morgan, which is one of the earliest horse breeds developed in the United States.

Hochstedler says his horse loves people and that he’s more than happy to give customers "a kiss or whatever,” which only adds to the quality of the ride. With Tim’s personality and expertise, a friendly horse and a vintage buggy, it makes sense that people all over Colon are taking advantage of the service. And it only costs $5.
