The Hottest Actresses (Who Can Actually Act)

Women |

There are no shortage of beautiful actresses in the entertainment business, as the allure of being in the movies or on television draws the most attractive human beings from around the world like moths to flame. However, few of these beautiful women can actually act, yet still get big roles based almost solely on their looks. This has led to a trend of actresses being judged more for their looks then their actual talent, which only emboldens the stereotype of sexism in Hollywood. However, there is a small percentage of actresses in Hollywood who have both jaw-dropping beauty and incredible acting range. While there are many more than listed below, here are five of the most notable actresses with both immense talent and beauty acting today.

Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Olsen – The little sister of the Olsen twins who made their fortunes as child actresses on Full House, Elizabeth Olsen began her career began her career with a series of excellent Indie films like Silent House, Martha Marcy May Marlene, and Red Lights. Now she is a regular in major tent pole action movies as well, like Godzilla and all of the Avengers films. With a very girl next door look, Elizabeth Olsen isn’t going to be making men’s magazine covers but her beauty is much deeper than that—which is much more appealing in this day and age.

Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe Grace Moretz – An excellent child actress, Moretz had incredibly memorable roles in Kick Ass, Let Me In and Texas Killing Fields as she came of age as a teenager. Now she has been able to leverage that success into a career as a star now that she has reached adulthood, while also broadening into a modeling career. On top of an average of 6 to 7 films per year over the past few years, Moretz is also modeling for magazines like Elle, Interview and Marie Claire. She also modeled at a haute couture event during Paris’s Fashion week in 2013, establishing herself in the fashion world. In other words, Moretz is going to probably be one of the best actresses in Hollywood someday and she’s only becoming more and more beautiful in her adulthood.

Alicia Vikander

Alicia Vikander – Vikander had always been the hot young Swedish actress in all of her films, like in Anna Karenina and The Fifth Estate, which showed some of her acting talents but never really let them loose. However, in 2014 she starred in Ex Machina and caught everyone’s attention as a beautiful android that turns on her maker. The following year she starred in The Danish Girl and won an Academy Award for best supporting actress, solidifying her place in film history at the age of 23. As a statuesque Swede Vikander is also stunning with a beauty that will undoubtedly stand the test of time.

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie – This blonde bombshell looks like an actress who would star in a few big blockbusters, be mediocre at best, take off her top a few times and then only be heard from sporadically over the next few decades. However, Margot Robbie has so much more to offer with her attitude and acting talent, proving how looks can be truly deceiving—at least when it comes to the way we think about women as gorgeous as she. After her awesome performance in The Wolf of Wall Street opposite the coked-up Dicaprio, Robbie has starred in Z for Zacharia, Focus, The Big Short and The Legend of Tarzan, delivering truly memorable performances, even if the overall films weren’t so much.

Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz – Daughter of actress Lisa Bonet and musician Lenny Kravitz, Zoe Kravitz seemed destined for a list like this one day, just due to her parents gorgeous and talented pedigree. She first starred in a variety of films, just establishing her presence onscreen before settling in and really discovering her talents. In the past few years she has starred in films like Dope and Mad Max: Fury Road, along with a lead role in the popular Divergent film series. Like her parents, she is destined for a long and successful entertainment career—and will also retain her beauty for years to come.
