Donald Trump’s 4 Favorite Foods Will Not Surprise You
Whether you love him, hate him or extremely hate him, it can never be said that Donald Trump is a man with a refined palette. Food has played a bigger role in his political career than most other politicians. Remember the taco bowl? Now, thanks to a new book titled Let Trump be Trump, penned by campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and former aide David Bossie, we know exactly how badly he eats in his daily life
“Trump’s appetite seems to know no bounds when it comes to McDonald’s, with a dinner order consisting of two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted,” write Lewandowski and Bossie. They also wrote about how Trump placed an extremely high priority on his fast food being delivered to his plane during campaign events so that it would still be hot when he ate it. “The orchestrating and timing of Mr. Trump’s meals was as important as any other aspect of his march to the presidency.”
These are Donald Trump’s four favorite foods.
Donald Trump loves pizza. Makes sense for a New Yorker. Especially one who was once a spokesman for Pizza Hut. The pizza served at Trump Tower went viral back in September. It looks like school cafeteria pizza. If even that good.
3. Diet Coke
Donald loves Diet Coke, despite the fact that he once tweeted, “I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.” Diet sodas have been linked to an increased risk of stroke and dementia and, according to the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, can precipitate weight gain in people over 65.
This photo made waves when Donald published it to Twitter. The Washington Post even wrote an extensive investigative piece about the meal. The author actually determined that the letter the KFC bucket is sitting on is the letter Obama sent him pleading to allow more Syrian refugees into the country.
Trump loves McDonald’s so much that he asked the White House chef to try to recreate it for him. Keep in mind what Lewandowski said – a typical Trump McDonald’s meal consists of two Big Macs, two Fillet-o-Fishes and a chocolate malt. That totals up to 2,400 calories.
